Scholarship for Engineering EducationThe Scholarship for Engineering Education program is targeted to Georgia residents who are engineering students at Mercer University (Macon campus). The purpose of the program is to attract undergraduates into the engineering profession by providing financial assistance and to provide qualified engineers for the State of Georgia. In return for the scholarship loan, students agree to work for one year for a reduction in balance of $3,000 after graduation in an engineering-related field in Georgia. Loans may be used for tuition and fees, room and board, and any other part of the student's cost of attendance. Value

Loan DisbursementsOnce the application process has been reviewed and approved, GSFC mails students an Award Letter advising them of each disbursement for the academic year. After the student signs and returns the Award Letter, GSFC sets up all disbursements to be sent to the school 14 days prior to the beginning of each term.
